Role of the Technical Team The role of the technical team is to create the foundation upon which a successful implementation can be built. This foundation is created with: · Acquisition and installation of appropriate hardware · Installation and configuration of an operating system that will maximize the performance of the application software · Successful installation of component software provided by Datatel · Development of a methodology to install software on employee computers which will allow them to fully utilize the Datatel applications · Migration of data from existing corporate databases to the new system · Extensive training of technical staff to ensure that they can effectively resolve user problems in a timely manner |
